Causes of clogged dust collector filter bag

When the dust collector filter bag is blocked, the resistance increases, which can be reflected by the increase in the reading value of the differential pressure gauge. The clogging of the filter bag is the main cause of the phenomenon of wear, perforation, and shedding of the filter bag.

Causes of clogging of the filter bag:

(1) Temporarily strengthen the dust removal to block the xiaochu filter bag;

(2) Replace part or all of the filter bag;

(3) Adjust installation and operating conditions.

2. The aging of the filter bag.

Mainly due to the following reasons, it is necessary to investigate the cause, take xiaochu measures and replace the filter bag.

(1) Hardening and shrinking due to abnormal high temperature;

(2), due to contact reaction with acid, alkali or organic solvent vapor;

(3) The pulse solenoid valve reacts with moisture.

3. Damage to the filter bag.

The shape of the filter bag and the installation method and mechanism of the filter bag determine the location where the filter bag is easily damaged, and inspection and maintenance can be carried out accordingly.

4. Pulse solenoid valve should not be hung too loosely or too tightly. Too loose and easy to accumulate dust, and too tight to be broken.

5. The old and new filter bags should not be mixed to avoid the difference in damage time from affecting the normal operation of the equipment.

6. The replaced filter bag should be blown clean with compressed air first, and then checked for any holes. After the holes are repaired, they are reserved for replacement. If the filter bag is stuck with dust, rinse it with water, and leave it to be replaced after it is allowed to dry.
