Select filter bag need to consider what factors

There are many kinds of raw materials that can be used to make filter bags, and there are more than one way to make filter bags. With different raw materials, different production methods to make the filter material has different applicable conditions. Therefore, what kind of filter bags should be used according to the use conditions of different users to carefully choose.

The selection of filter media to consider the conditions are mainly the following.

(1) temperature: because the filter media made of different raw materials can withstand the temperature is different for a long time, if the temperature is higher than the filter media can withstand, the filter media will soon be damaged.

(2) Humidity: the moisture content in a gas is related to its dew point. The moisture content is high, the dew point is also high, and it is easy to form dew in the bag filter, so that the dust is easy to form on the filter bag and affect the dust cleaning effect. If the dust collector often runs up and down the dew point, the temperature is sometimes higher than the dew point, sometimes lower than the dew point, the filter material will be brittle and easy to damage. There is also an important problem, that is, if the bag filter in both high temperature and contains quite a lot of water and gas under the condition of operation, some filter material will be due to hydrolysis and soon damage

(3) chemical composition: if the dust gas of bag filter contains acid, alkali or organic solvent, the filter material should be selected to resist the corrosion of these substances. If the treatment is hot gas and contains a certain amount of oxygen or dust can be oxidized, some filter material is easy to damage. The gas wound contains sulfur, which will greatly increase the dew point

(4) Flammability and explosion possibility: if the dusty air contains hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, acetylene and other combustible gases or grains, aluminum and other dust reaches a certain concentration range, the fire source will produce a violent explosion. In this case, the flame-retardant filter material which can eliminate static electricity should be selected.
