The Analysis for air dust filter bag burning

The main manifestations of high-temperature burning are that the filter bag shrinks violently due to high temperature, severely hardened, and even the surface of the filter bag has holes. The main reasons are:

1) The temperature in the working condition of the filter bag is beyond the acceptable range of the filter bag, resulting in high-temperature flue gas causing damage to the filter material.

2) There is an open flame sprayed onto the bag body in the flue gas, causing high-temperature particles to damage the filter material.

In the pulverized coal drying kiln, the pulverized coal particles after drying are very small and extremely sticky, and the ash cleaning is not ideal, leaving a large amount of dried coal on the surface of the filter bag, and the burning point of this dried pulverized coal is very low. When the high-temperature flue gas enters the dust collector, it quickly ignites the coal on the surface of the filter bag, causing the filter bag and skeleton of the entire dust collector to be burned.

In addition to high-temperature burns, the sparks in the flue gas can also cause serious damage to the filter bag. For example, coke ovens, drying kilns, chain furnaces, cupolas, electric furnaces, blast furnaces, mixing furnaces, etc. will have a large number of sparks in the production process. Into the flue gas, if the sparks are not treated in time, especially when the dust layer on the surface of the filter bag is thin, it will cause the sparks to burn the filter bag through and form irregular round holes. When the dust layer on the surface of the filter bag is thin, the sparks will not directly burn through the filter bag, but will form dark-colored baking marks on the surface of the filter bag.
